Fashion Fundraiser with Luigi Basile

This first of its kind event was a Fashion Fundraiser, on Saturday, May 2, sponsored by the fine men’s clothing store Luigi Basile. Luigi Basile is one of our neighbors in the Paseo Market Place where we recently opened our new recital hall with a series of 11 solo recitals. What an exciting weekend that was!
Rene Caire, proprietor of Luigi Basile, has donated $5000 of clothing for the live auction! The event began with a pre-recital gathering, hors d’oeuvres provided by Monrose Catering and champagne poured by Bellavino Wine Bar & Restaurant. In keeping with the hors d’oeuvres theme, an “appetizer” recital (one to whet your musical taste-buds), features our conductor Richard Rintoul, concert master Dianne Rammon, and principal clarinetist Nancy Bonds. Edward Francis collaborated with each of the artists, playing the concert grand donated by Keyboard Concepts, of Agoura Hills. Guests met at the recital hall at 6 o’clock for socializing, food and beverage. The recital will began at 6:30, and after the final notes of the performance, moved to our neighbor’s beautiful store for the live auction.
